Who this is for

  • Medical school applicants invited to interview at MD or DO programs
  • Residency candidates preparing for ERAS or CaRMS interviews
  • International medical graduates (IMGs) interviewing for US or Canadian residency
  • Re-applicants who interviewed last cycle and didn’t match
  • Applicants who interview well in conversation but stiffen up under formal questioning

What we’ll cover

  • MMI (Multiple Mini Interview). Ethical scenarios, role plays, situational judgment, and policy questions. A method for structuring an answer in under a minute.
  • Traditional and panel interviews. “Tell me about yourself,” motivation, fit, and the long-form behavioral questions.
  • Why this program. Specific, researched answers that show you’ve done the work, not generic flattery.
  • Hard questions. Gaps in the application, low scores, leaves of absence, and red flags. Honest answers that build trust.
  • Behavioral and ethical scenarios. A framework you can apply to any prompt, even ones you didn’t prepare for.
  • Virtual interview presentation. Lighting, framing, eye contact, and how to project warmth through a webcam.

How it works

1. Free 15-minute consultation. Tell me which programs, the format, and the timeline.

2. Application review. I read your personal statement and CV so we know exactly what every interviewer will be looking at.

3. Strategy session. We map the questions you’re most likely to face and outline your answers. Including the hard ones.

4. Mock interviews. I run mocks in the format you’ll actually face. MMI circuits, traditional one-on-ones, or panel formats.

5. Refinement. We polish the answers that aren’t landing yet and sharpen the ones that are.

6. Day-of brief. A one-page document you can read the morning of the interview to feel calm and ready.

Why MMI prep matters more than you think

Most applicants prep for MMI by reading sample scenarios. That builds familiarity, not fluency. The goal isn’t to know what the right answer is. There isn’t one. The goal is to think out loud in a structured, ethical, humane way under time pressure.

That’s a skill you build through reps. We do the reps.

What clients say

“This service was referenced to me by a friend of mine and I am so glad I reached out to Neil. He completely destroyed my resume (in a good way). He made me realize how unaligned my resume was to the career path of my choice. He helped me redefine myself not only on paper but also in an interview setting. His process is very clear and there is transparency throughout the services. I highly recommend investing in your career through The Interview Professional.”
