Who this is for
- MBA candidates recruiting for consulting full-time or summer associate roles
- Undergraduate candidates targeting analyst programs
- Experienced hires from industry, government, military, or tech
- Career switchers from finance, law, or medicine
- Anyone who has done a few cases on their own and is hitting the same walls
What we’ll cover
- Case interview structure. A repeatable approach for market sizing, profitability, market entry, M&A, and pricing cases. Without rigid frameworks.
- Communication. How to think out loud without rambling. When to pause, when to push, when to ask for data.
- Math. The three calculations that show up in almost every case, and how to do them quickly and out loud.
- Fit and PEI. McKinsey’s PEI, BCG and Bain fit questions, and the “tell me about yourself” walk that frames everything that follows.
- Brain teasers and edge cases. The non-standard questions that throw most candidates off.
- Final round prep. The interviewer-led format, partner-style cases, and how to handle a hostile case partner.
How it works
1. Free 15-minute consultation. Tell me which firms, the timeline, and where you’ve been struggling.
2. Diagnostic case. I run a full case with you on the first paid session. I take notes the whole way through. The debrief tells us exactly where the work is.
3. Targeted drills. Short sessions on the specific weaknesses we found. Usually math, structuring, or communication.
4. Mock cases. Full mocks at progressively higher difficulty. We do two to four of these for most clients, more for late-stage prep.
5. Fit interview prep. Stories, PEI prep, and the “why consulting / why this firm” answers built out and pressure-tested.
6. Final round simulation. A simulated round of three back-to-back interviews, with a debrief at the end.
What separates strong cases from weak ones
Most candidates obsess over frameworks. The candidates who get offers don’t use frameworks. They use logic. They listen to the prompt, they identify what actually matters, they structure the problem in their own words, and they stay flexible when new information shows up.
That’s a learnable skill. It just takes reps with feedback.
What clients say
“Neil is very approachable and helpful, he maintained contact with me throughout the interview experience. He is not only a coach, but also a friend. He is personable and gives great constructive feedback. My sessions with him were very efficient, and I got wonderful benefits from all the time I spent with him.”

FAQ
How many sessions will I need? Most clients do six to ten sessions across a recruiting cycle.
Do you run cases or just teach the theory? Run cases. The theory is in the books. What’s missing for most candidates is reps with honest feedback.
Do you cover MBB-specific formats? Yes. McKinsey PEI and interviewer-led cases, BCG and Bain candidate-led cases, and partner round style.
Can I prep for case math separately? Yes. Some clients book a single math session to drill the calculations in isolation.
Try the first session risk-free
If your first paid session doesn’t feel like the right fit, I’ll refund it in full. No questions asked.
