Who I work with in LA

  • Professionals interviewing at LA-based firms in tech, finance, entertainment, healthcare, real estate, and biotech
  • USC, UCLA, Loyola Marymount, Pepperdine, and Claremont students preparing for full-time recruiting and graduate school
  • Senior executives interviewing at LA companies and studios
  • Career switchers moving between LA’s industries
  • Anyone in the LA area who wants a coach who knows the local recruiting market

I also coach virtually with clients across North America and globally. The core work is the same wherever you are.

Why local context matters

Most interview coaching is generic. Same advice for an analyst in New York and a product manager in San Diego. That falls short on the things that matter at the margin:

  • Which firms in LA hire on what cycle, and how their interview formats compare
  • The networks that actually help with USC, UCLA, LMU, Pepperdine, and Claremont recruiting
  • The specific cultural cues that work in entertainment, biotech, or healthcare interviews here vs. how the same questions get asked elsewhere
  • Same-time-zone scheduling, including evening and weekend slots when you have an interview the next morning

I’ve coached candidates into roles across LA’s biggest employers. I know the formats, the interviewers’ preferences, and what good answers actually sound like in this market.

What we’ll cover

  • A clear strategy for the interview ahead of you
  • Stories built around your real experience, not templates
  • Live mock interviews with honest feedback
  • A walk-in plan you can review the morning of the interview
  • A method you can use for every interview after this one

How it works

1. Free 15-minute consultation. A short call to talk about the role and where you feel stuck.

2. Strategy session. We map the questions and outline your stories.

3. Mock interviews. Real interview conditions over Zoom or Google Meet. Most clients do two to four of these.

4. Refinement. Sharpening, polishing, and rehearsing.

5. Walk-in plan. A one-page brief for interview morning.

What clients say

“I learned about not doubting myself, and not to assume that a company won’t contact me because of my English ability. I was pleased with our sessions. It gave me direction and more confidence in my ability to take more initiative when preparing for an interview by myself. I’d just like to express my continued appreciation for your professional effort and guidance!”

FAQ

Are sessions in person? No. All coaching is virtual right now, over Zoom or Google Meet. That keeps scheduling flexible and lets me work with clients across North America and globally as well as in LA.

Do you offer evening or weekend sessions? Yes, by appointment. Same time zone makes after-hours scheduling easier when an interview is a day or two away.

Do you know the LA recruiting market? Yes. I’ve worked with candidates interviewing at LA tech firms, banks, healthcare systems, entertainment companies, and biotech startups, plus students recruiting from USC, UCLA, LMU, Pepperdine, and Claremont.

Can you help if I’m not in LA? Yes. About half my clients are outside LA. The coaching method is the same.

Try the first session risk-free

If your first paid session doesn’t feel like the right fit, I’ll refund it in full. No questions asked.
