How I work

Most interview prep treats interviewing like a mystery. Read enough articles, memorize enough scripts, and hope the questions you prepared are the ones you get.

I treat interviewing like a skill. A skill is something you build. You break it into parts, you practice the parts with feedback, and you put it back together until you can do it under pressure without thinking about it.

That’s the work. Direct coaching, customized to your talk track, your resume, and your personality. No templates. No memorized answers that fall apart on the first follow-up question.

By the time you walk into your interview, you’ve already done the hard part.

What you can expect from me

Customized prep. Your stories, your resume, your personality. Built around the specific role you’re going after.

Honest feedback. If a story isn’t working, I’ll tell you. The interview room isn’t the place to find out.

A method you can reuse. I won’t hand you canned answers. I’ll teach you a formula for answering anything, including questions you didn’t see coming.

A first-session refund guarantee. If your first paid session doesn’t feel like the right fit, I’ll refund it in full. No questions asked.

Who I work with

  • Candidates preparing for jobs in finance, private equity, consulting, and tech
  • Applicants for MBA programs and medical school or residency
  • Senior professionals interviewing for executive and leadership roles
  • Career switchers learning to tell a new story
  • International candidates and clients across North America and globally
  • Anyone who freezes up when the questions get hard

What clients say

“My professional relationship with Neil began around 8 years ago, when he had just begun coaching clients. I was someone who could contribute a lot to whatever company I joined, but had a lot of trouble conveying my potential properly during the interview process. Neil stepped in to help me recognize my strengths, and more importantly, taught me how to produce and maintain a deep level of confidence. By commanding confidence, I was able to command the interview, and faced recruiters as an equal, resulting in numerous offers.”

Michael D., Apple

“I saw so much improvement immediately. I am not constantly worried about interviews and Neil helped me realize a lot of my strengths. The best investment I have ever made in myself.”

Justin H., Salesforce
